The Golden State Warriors of the NBA have officially announced a multi-year contract extension with current head coach Steve Kerr. According to previous reports by renowned journalist Woj, this deal represents the highest salary for an NBA coach.



It is reported that Kerr's new contract is a two-year extension worth $35 million, as his original contract was set to expire after this season. Joe Lacob, the Co-Chairman and CEO of the Warriors, stated in a press release, "We are thrilled that Coach Kerr will continue to lead our team in the coming years, as this extension is well-deserved.
