In a recent Premier League fixture at the Gtech Community Stadium, Manchester United nearly secured a win against Brentford, but an equalizing goal in the last seconds resulted in a tie game, sparking a reaction from the club's new owner, Sir Jim Ratcliffe, that should worry United’s manager, Erik ten Hag.

Manchester United's performance, particularly against a dominant Brentford side, didn't sit well with Ratcliffe. Despite Mason Mount's 96th-minute goal that initially appeared to clinch the victory for United, Brentford's quick response, a goal by Kristoffer Ajer from Ivan Toney's pass, dashed their hopes.
Ratcliffe, who recently acquired a minority stake in the club, expressed his dissatisfaction with United's recent display, according to The Telegraph. This isn't the first time he's shown discontent; their defeat to Fulham in February also drew his disapproval.
Ratcliffe's concern goes beyond short-term results. He supposedly regards the team's current style of play as "unsustainable in the long term," but the report did not state if any changes in the club's management are underway.
Currently in the 6th place in the Premier League, Manchester United trails 4th-placed Aston Villa by 11 points, putting their Champions League qualification in jeopardy. As the FA Cup remains their only potential avenue for a trophy this season, Ratcliffe's unease could signal ambiguity in ten Hag's future at the club.
