Al Hilal Coach: Team's Next Goal is AFC Champions League and FIFA Club World Cup
After leading the team to clinch the Saudi League title three rounds early, Al Hilal's head coach Jesus stated that the next targets for the team are the AFC Champions League and the FIFA Club World Cup.
Jesus said, "Our goal is to win championships. Initially, we faced issues with player absences, but we overcame that challenge and secured a hard-fought league title. Our players deserve to celebrate because they have sacrificed throughout the entire season." He added, "I returned to Al-Nassr primarily to finish the job I started and win the league title. Next week, my lawyer will discuss my contract situation with the management. Apart from winning the league title next season, our targets are the AFC Champions League and the FIFA Club World Cup. Defending the league title is also an important objective for us."
According to earlier reports, Jesus, whose contract is expiring soon, is set to renew his contract with Al-Nassr until 2026.
