Former Bayern Manager, Tuchel, Declines Interest in Manchester United Job
Former Bayern Munich and Chelsea coach, Thomas Tuchel, has announced that he is not interested in taking up the role of Manchester United's manager. Tuchel, who has achieved nine significant trophies with four different clubs, was initially considered as a potential replacement for Erik ten Hag.

The post-season review at Manchester United is yet to reach a conclusion, and ten Hag’s future at Old Trafford remains uncertain as he waits to hear if he will be granted a third season in charge. Despite a meeting with United co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe in France, Tuchel has decided to take a break from his coaching career following his departure from Bayern Munich last season.

Various other managers have been linked to Manchester United, should the club decide to change gears, and these include Mauricio Pochettino, the former Chelsea and Tottenham chief, Thomas Frank of Brentford, and Graham Potter. England's boss, Gareth Southgate, has also been rumoured as a contender, but he is contractually obligated with the Football Association until the end of the year and is not expected to be available for United's first pre-season friendly, which is scheduled the day after the Euro 2024 final.
