In the Women's Football League Cup final, Arsenal secured a 1-0 victory against Chelsea, enabling the team to retain the title. However, a significant part of the competition was overshadowed by the unexpected collapse of Arsenal’s midfielder, Frida Maanum, leading to the game’s suspension in the second half's stoppage time.

Stina Blackstenius, Arsenal's striker, shattered the stalemate and scored the deciding goal during extra time. This victory was sealed at the Molineux Stadium on Sunday to Arsenal's favor.
