Emmanuel Petit Encourages Trent Alexander-Arnold to Stay with Liverpool Amidst Real Madrid Speculation

Liverpool right-back, Trent Alexander-Arnold has been urged by former Arsenal and Chelsea defender, Emmanuel Petit, to stay with the club and resist a potential move to Real Madrid. This comes amid speculation regarding Alexander-Arnold's future at Liverpool, as his contract is set to expire in 2025.

Despite a knee injury that impacted his performance levels, Alexander-Arnold has had an impressive season, featuring in 26 Premier League games, scoring three goals, and providing four assists. This helped Liverpool mount a title bid earlier in the season.

With his contract expiring next year, the defender's future seems uncertain. Petit urges him to stay at Liverpool, his childhood club, rather than making a move to Real Madrid. Petit believes the change could bring considerable pressure on the English international, which Alexander-Arnold might not be able to withstand.
